FAQ
More questions? We’ve got you covered
Who can apply?
You must be 18 or over, have a UK bank account, and be able to afford the repayments. Income and credit history are also checked. Eligibility varies. Finance is subject to status. Terms and conditions apply.
When might funds be received after lender approval?
Only after a lender approves your application. Funds may then be sent the same day, depending on that lender and your bank. Approval and funding are not guaranteed.
How do soft search eligibility checks work?
Starting a quote may use a soft search. It is not normally visible to other lenders and does not normally affect your credit score. If you proceed with an offer, a full credit check may follow, which may appear on your credit file and can affect your credit score.
What happens if I can’t repay my loan on time?
Late repayment can cause you serious money problems. Contact the lender straight away. For free help, go to moneyhelper.org.uk.
How does the UK regulate loans to protect borrowers?
Credit broking and lending in the UK are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. FinLoan is a trading style of Warwick Financial Services Limited, a credit broker, not a lender (FRN 622839). We do not approve loans or pay money into your account.
